How to unlock every Warhammer 40K item in Helldivers 2

The Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40K crossover launched August 12, 2026 and runs free for everyone until August 26, 2026. After that, the Legendary Warbond costs 1,500 Super Credits (~$15). Here's how to get every item in the Warbond, plus the limited-time Galactic War campaign rewards.

Step 1: Claim the Legendary Warbond (free, Aug 12-26)

The Warhammer 40K content is in a Legendary Warbond — a premium- tier battle pass in Helldivers 2 that requires Super Credits to unlock. This one is free from Aug 12 to Aug 26, 2026. After Aug 26, the Warbond costs 1,500 Super Credits.

Step 2: Earn Warbond Medals

Warbond Medals are earned by:

Completing missions (any difficulty, any faction): 5 Medals per

mission

Completing Difficulty 7+ missions: 10 Medals per mission
Completing Difficulty 9+ missions: 15 Medals per mission
Daily Objectives: 5 Medals per day
Operation completions (community-wide events): 25-50 Medals

per Operation

The fastest Medal farm: Difficulty 7+ missions with the Galactic War campaign active. With the Tyranid campaign, you can run 4-6 missions per hour, earning 40-60 Medals per hour.

To unlock the full Warbond (30 items), you need ~300 Medals. At 40-60/hour, that's 5-7 hours of play during the free window. With the Aug 26 cutoff, you'll have 14 days — that's plenty of time for casual players.

Step 4: Complete the Galactic War campaign (limited-time)

The crossover also runs a 2-week limited-time Galactic War campaign from Aug 12 to Aug 26, 2026. The plot:

The Automaton front receives a Tyranid hive fleet incursion
Helldivers push back the Tyranids in 5 new sectors
Completing all 5 sectors unlocks the "Emperor's Champion"

title and the Aquila Cape (gold with the Imperial Aquila eagle)

If the campaign fails (the Helldivers lose), you unlock the

"Survivor of the Hive" title

The campaign is a community-wide effort — you contribute by completing missions on the new sectors, and the community's combined progress drives the campaign. You don't need to grind specifically; just play normally during the campaign window.

Step 5: Farm the Tyranid enemies for bonus unlocks

The Tyranid enemies drop specific cosmetics on kill:
