The rules (we keep them short on purpose)

  1. 1.We never accept payment that influences a verdict, score, or tier-list placement. Sponsored pieces are never reviews.
  2. 2.We don't accept sponsorships from games we've given a negative review to in the last 6 months. (The Once Human Standard applies.)
  3. 3.We don't run gambling, crypto/NFT, or pay-to-win promotions as sponsored content. Ever.
  4. 4.Every sponsored placement is labeled at the top of the article. No footer disclosures, no 'partner content' weasel words — a real top-of-article badge.
  5. 5.The editorial voice stays OFFLANE's. You review for factual accuracy only. You don't get to change the tone, the conclusion, or the opinions.
  6. 6.We don't do exclusivity — your sponsored article doesn't prevent us from covering your competitors.
  7. 7.We don't run sponsored content in /news or /reviews feeds (schema-level separation). Sponsored content lives in /deals or in dedicated sponsored sections.
  8. 8.We reserve the right to decline any sponsorship for any reason. If the editorial fit is bad, we say so.

The full editorial standards — including what we do and don't do as part of our editorial standards — apply to every sponsored placement.

The process

  1. 1. Reach out

Email [email protected] with the campaign brief. Include the game, the target audience, the campaign window, and the budget range. We respond within 2 business days.

  2. 2. Scope

We send a one-page scope: which articles, which placements, which disclosure, which review process, and the price. You sign off.

  3. 3. Draft + review

We draft the article(s). You review for factual accuracy only — you don't get to change opinions. We revise. The review process is 2-3 rounds.

  4. 4. Publish

We publish with the Sponsored badge. You get the link. We share on Twitter + Discord. The article stays on the site permanently (or for the campaign window, for deal roundups).

  5. 5. Report

For newsletter mentions and tournament coverage, you get an engagement report 7 days after the campaign ends. Open rate, click rate, top countries, top referrers.
