The new legend: Sparrow
Sparrow is a Recon-class legend with a focus on long-range intel:
- Passive: Hawk Eye — highlights the lowest-
health enemy in your line of sight through walls (4-second cooldown)
- Tactical: Echo Pulse — sends out a sonar
wave that reveals enemies hit for 6 seconds
- Ultimate: Sky Net — deploys 3 flying drones
that scan a large area, revealing all enemy positions for 15 seconds
Sparrow is the most-intel-focused legend since Seer (Season 10) and the best long-range duelist partner since Vantage (Season 16).
The Olympus rework
Olympus is the third map to get the "POI overhaul" treatment (after World's Edge in S26 and Storm Point in S28). The changes:
- Phase Runner is now open — no longer
requires a key, but still teleports between phases
- 3 new POIs (Carrier Lab, Turbine Plaza,
Garden Spire)
- 2 removed POIs (the underused Hammond
Labs and Turbine)
- Better verticality — new ziplines and
jump pads connecting all POIs
- Reduced sniper sightlines — the long
corridors that defined the old Olympus are gone
The rework makes Olympus the most-battle-royale- ready map in the pool. Expect more close-quarters fights and fewer long-range snipes.
The Marked system
Marked is a new permanent stat-tracking system. Each legend you play has a "Marked" profile showing:
- Your best-ever game (kills, damage,
survival time, placement)
- Your signature moments (top-5 plays of all
time, with VOD clips)
- Your lifetime stats (kills, wins, K/D,
headshot %)
The Marked system is the first permanent achievement system in Apex and is designed to make each legend feel "yours."
Battle Pass and rewards
The Season 30 Battle Pass has 100 tiers, $9.99 for the standard track. The premium track includes:
- Sparrow unlock at Tier 1 (free for Premium
Battle Pass holders)
- 3 Legendary skins (Sparrow, Wraith,
Gibraltar)
- 6 Epic skins
- 10 Apex Packs
- 240 Crafting Metals
The free track gives 600 Apex Coins (enough for 1 Apex Pack + change) and the Sparrow-specific Banner pose.

Can I play on mobile?
No, Apex is PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch. Mobile was discontinued in 2024.
What's the meta going to be?
