The Quickdraw mechanic
Quickdraw is the new keyword for Fractured Frontier. The effect triggers when a card is played on the same turn it was drawn.
Per the official developer update, the effect window is: "the turn you draw the card, or the next turn if cards already started revealing."
This rewards aggressive deck cycling and punishes slow, value-oriented play. The meta is expected to shift toward lower- curve decks and more draw effects.
The 8 new cards
Per the official Marvel Snap developer update and the community data mining, the season adds these 8 new cards:
- Thanos: Fractured Frontier (6 cost,
10 power) — Season Pass card. On Reveal: all cards in your hand gain Quickdraw. "Loads an Infinity Shot into his six shooter," with random effects when played (cost reduction, draw, or extra power).
- Jane Foster: Fractured Frontier (4
cost, 7 power) — On Reveal: shocks 4 random characters per side with chain lightning. Your side gets stronger, enemy side gets weaker.
- Psylocke: Fractured Frontier (3 cost,
4 power) — Gives your Proxima cards a cost reduction. After a Quickdraw, gives cost reduction to your entire hand.
- Doctor Octopus: Fractured Frontier
(2 cost, 1 power) — On Reveal: puts the leftmost card in your hand on top of your deck, adds a random card to your hand, and gives both +3 power.
- Red Wolf: Fractured Frontier (1 cost,
2 power) — On Reveal: gains +1 power per card in your hand. Quickdraw: gives all cards in your hand +1 power.
- Death: Fractured Frontier (5 cost,
8 power) — On Reveal: resurrects all destroyed cards at random locations.
- Hellcow: Fractured Frontier (3 cost,
2 power) — End of Turn: afflicts all other characters at this location with -1 power. Destroys your friendly cards here if their power is 0 or less. Designed for affliction decks.
- Red Hulk: Fractured Frontier (3 cost,
8 power) — On Reveal: -1 power for each enemy card at this location. Quickdraw: +1 power instead.

Why it matters
The Quickdraw mechanic is a major shift in how Marvel Snap plays. Seasons that add new keywords (Sakaar January 2024, Loki For All Time April 2024) typically redefine the meta for 4-6 weeks. Expect existing decks (Bounce, Destroy, Move) to struggle, and new archetypes (Quickdraw deck cycling, low-curve aggro) to emerge.
The Wild West theme is also notable — the last Western-themed Snap card was Cowboy Deadpool (October 2023), and the theme hasn't been revisited since.
