PGC 2026 announced

PUBG's year-end world final is going to Riyadh. The PUBG Global Championship 2026 runs this November with a 32-team field and the largest prize pool in the event's history, headlining the game's competitive calendar.

The format

PGC 2026 keeps the structure fans know, with a few adjustments:

  • 32 teams qualify through the regional circuits — the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific leagues each send their top squads.
  • Group stage splits the field into four groups of eight. The top four from each group advance to the grand finals.
  • Grand finals run over three days, with the cumulative points across 18 matches deciding the champion.

The cumulative-points format rewards consistency over a single hot drop. A squad that places steadily across the three days beats one that wins a match and finishes outside the points in the rest.

What's at stake

Beyond the title, PGC 2026 carries the biggest prize pool the game has offered. The purse is split across the top 16 finishers, with the champion taking the largest share. The event also awards the season's MVP and a community-voted "Fan Favorite" squad.

For the regions, the stakes are about bragging rights. Asia-Pacific has dominated recent editions, and the European and Americas circuits are looking to close the gap.

How to watch

The official PUBG broadcast carries every match live, with regional co-streams in several languages. Group-stage matches run Thursday through Saturday of each week; the grand finals close out the event on the final weekend.
