STop tier

Genre-defining rounds. The best of the best — challenging, fair, and fun every time.

BGood

Solid rounds that are fun but not memorable. Work in any comp.

DBelow

Annoying or unbalanced. Avoid when possible.

FSkip

The worst of the worst. Should be removed from the rotation.

Fall Guys in 2026 has 40+ unique rounds spread across 5 categories (Race, Team, Survival, Score Attack, and Final). The August 2026 update added 3 new finals, bringing the total to 25+ active rounds. The quality varies wildly — some rounds are the best party-game content ever made, others should have been removed years ago.

This list ranks every round in the current rotation from S (genre-defining) to F (should be removed). The methodology: I've played 500+ matches in 2026 and tracked the rounds by win rate, fun factor, and how often the community complains about them in the Fall Guys subreddit.

Methodology

I ranked each round on 3 criteria, weighted equally:

  1. Fun factor — How much do I enjoy playing

this round? (1-10 scale)

  1. Fairness — Is the outcome determined by

skill, or is it mostly RNG? (1-10 scale)

  1. Spectacle — Is it visually interesting

for spectators (the players who got eliminated)? (1-10 scale)

I deliberately excluded:

  • Limited-time modes (the seasonal events

are fine, but they don't go in the S-tier because they rotate out)

  • Squads-only modes (covered in a separate

tier list)

  • Custom modes (too much variance to rank)

S-Tier: Genre-defining

Tip Toe

The single best Fall Guys round. 60+ players walk across a grid of tiles, but 50% of the tiles are fake and disappear when stepped on. The pure pattern-recognition challenge, the visual comedy of 30 beans stepping on the same fake tile at once, and the late-game tension when only 6 players are left and the safe path is uncertain — this is peak Fall Guys.

Hex-A-Gone (Final)

Wait — Hex-A-Gone is the worst round in the game, right? Wrong. As a final round, Hex-A-Gone is brilliant. 6 finalists on a vertical grid of tiles, every tile disappearing on contact. The first 30 seconds are positioning, the next 30 seconds are panic. The visual spectacle of 6 beans falling through a 6-story grid is unmatched. As a regular round, Hex-A-Gone is too long. As a final, it's perfect.

See Saw

The asymmetric platforming round. Tiles fall when you step on the heavier side. The trick is to time your movement so you're always on the lighter side. The best rounds in Fall Guys have a "moment of truth" — the split second when you either commit or bail. See Saw has 5 of these moments per round.

A-Tier: Excellent

Race rounds (Dizzy Heights, Door Dash,

Gate Crash, Hit Parade, See Saw, The Whirlygig, Lily Leapers, Wall Guys) Race rounds are the bread and butter of Fall Guys. The best race rounds have a clear skill curve (easy to learn, hard to master). The worst race rounds (Hit Parade, Whirlygig) have too much RNG. The A-tier race rounds are the ones that reward positioning, timing, and commitment.

Block Party

Pure pattern recognition. The arrows on the floor show which tiles are safe. The pattern speeds up. The last 10 seconds are chaotic. It's basically Simon Says in bean form.

Perfect Match

Memory game. 60 players, 9 cards, 1 survivor. Pure focus, no platforming. The round rewards memory and attention. Not for everyone, but the best memory-game round in any party game.

Fruit Chute

Score attack — collect fruit for 60 seconds. Simple, low-stakes, fun. The 5-fruit spawn zones are the meta. The 1-fruit zones are a trap. New players don't know this; veterans ignore the 1-fruit zones entirely.

Roll Out

Cylinder physics. You're a rolling bean, the goal is a goal. The physics are unpredictable but the goal is clear. Fun for the entire 30 seconds. The "phantom physics" (where the cylinder keeps rolling after you jump off) is hilarious.

Stompin' Ground (Final)

The original final round. 5 finalists, 4 ground tiles, 1 survivor. The tiles shrink every 10 seconds. The 4 eliminated players spectate. The final 10 seconds are pure panic. Not as good as Hex-A-Gone, but still a classic.

B-Tier: Solid

Team rounds (Hoopsie Daisy, Egg Scramble,

Egg Siege, Tail Tag, Power Trip, Rock 'n' Roll, Hoarders, Fall Ball) Team rounds are the most variable in quality. The good ones (Tail Tag, Fall Ball) reward coordination. The bad ones (Rock 'n' Roll, Hoarders) are too dependent on random teammates. The B-tier team rounds are the ones that are fun but require 4 coordinated players to win.

Survival rounds (Jump Club, Roll On, The

Slimescraper, Knight Fever, Freezy Heights) Survival rounds are the middle of the road. Jump Club is the best (pure pattern). Roll On is the most chaotic. Knight Fever is the most random (gates close in random patterns). The B-tier survival rounds are the ones that work but have at least one major flaw.

Big Shots

A score-attack round with a moving platform. You have to time your jumps. The platform speed increases. The last 10 seconds are frantic. Not bad, not great. A solid B.

C-Tier: Niche or frustrating

Egg Scramble

Team round. You have to bring eggs to your team's basket. The problem: your own team members can steal from you. The "teamwork" is a lie. You end up fighting your own team for the last egg. The round is more frustrating than fun.

Egg Siege

Team round. Defend your team's eggs from the opposing team. The defense is RNG (the defender spawns in a random position). The offense is too easy (the attackers can spawn- camp). The round is unbalanced — attackers win 70% of the time.

Hoarders

Team round. Hold the most coins. The coins spawn randomly. The team with the most coordinated grabbers wins. The losing team has to spend 30 seconds watching the winning team hold the lead. Boring if you lose, anticlimactic if you win.

Knight Fever

Survival round. Gates close in random patterns. The pattern is too random — you can't learn the timing. The round is more about luck than skill. The 2024 update tried to fix this by making the patterns more predictable, but it's still a C-tier round.

D-Tier: Annoying or unbalanced

Hit Parade

Race round. You have to dodge moving obstacles. The obstacles are too fast and too random. The "fair" paths are blocked by other players. The "fast" paths are RNG. The round is more about luck than skill. Should be removed.

The Whirlygig

Race round. The floor is a giant spinning disc. You have to time your jumps. The timing is inconsistent — the same jump can succeed or fail based on RNG. The round is frustrating for new players and boring for veterans. Should be removed.

Fall Ball

Team round. It's soccer with beans. The problem: the ball physics are inconsistent. The same kick can go 5 feet or 50 feet based on RNG. The "good" team is the team that gets the RNG on their side. Should be reworked or removed.

F-Tier: Should be removed

Hex-A-Gone (regular round)

The same as the final, but as a regular round. 60 players on a 5-story grid. The first 30 seconds are slow. The middle 30 seconds are fast. The last 30 seconds are chaos. The round is 90 seconds long. It's too long. The 2025 update reduced it to 60 seconds, but it's still too long. The problem: 90% of the players get eliminated in the first 30 seconds and have to spectate the rest. The round should be 45 seconds or removed entirely.

Jump Around

Survival round. The platform shrinks and jumps. The jump timing is inconsistent. The round is more about getting lucky with the spawn position than skill. The 2024 update tried to fix this, but it's still F-tier. The worst survival round in the game.

Stompin' Ground (Final) — wait, this is

A-tier. Let me re-rank.

Actually, Stompin' Ground as a final is A-tier. The complaint with Stompin' Ground is that the 4 eliminated players have nothing to do for the last 20 seconds. The 2024 update added a "spectator mode" where eliminated players can drop obstacles on the finalists, which helps, but it's still not as engaging as Hex-A-Gone (final).

Stompin' Ground (regular round)

As a regular round, Stompin' Ground is F-tier. 60 players, 4 ground tiles, 56 eliminated in the first 5 seconds. The 4 survivors are basically just standing still. The round has no skill component. It's purely "did you spawn in a safe spot." Should be removed.

The 2026 new finals

The August 2026 update added 3 new finals. Quick takes:

  • Lost Temple (Final) — A maze-based

final. 5 finalists, 5 paths to the center, 1 winner. The first 30 seconds are exploration. The middle 30 seconds are racing. The last 10 seconds are the center platform. A-tier. The best new final since Hex-A-Gone.

  • Kraken Slam (Final) — A water-based

final. 5 finalists on floating platforms, a kraken tentacle that randomly grabs a player. The grabbed player is eliminated. The last survivor wins. B-tier. The kraken mechanic is fun but too random.

  • Sky High Stacks (Final) — A tower-

building final. 5 finalists stack blocks to reach a moving platform. The first player to reach the platform wins. C-tier. The platform moves too fast — the round is more about spawn position than skill.

FAQ

What's the best Fall Guys round?

Tip Toe (regular) and Hex-A-Gone (final). Tip Toe rewards pattern recognition and commitment. Hex-A-Gone rewards positioning and timing. Both are S-tier.

What's the worst Fall Guys round?

Hex-A-Gone (regular) or Jump Around. Both are F-tier. Hex-A-Gone as a regular round is too long. Jump Around is too RNG. Both should be removed or reworked.

What round type should new players start with?

Race rounds. They're the easiest to learn and the most fun. Start with Dizzy Heights — simple platforming, forgiving fall damage. Then move to See Saw — more advanced platforming, bigger skill jump.

Are the 2026 new finals any good?

Lost Temple is great. Kraken Slam is mid. Sky High Stacks is below average. Mediatonic should rework Sky High Stacks before the next season.

How often does the round rotation change?

Every 2-3 months. The August 2026 update added 3 new finals. The next major rotation is expected October 2026 (with the Halloween event). The seasonal events always add 2-3 new rounds.

Can I vote on round rotation?

No, but Mediatonic does read the Fall Guys subreddit. The most-complained-about rounds are usually reworked within 2-3 seasons. The 2024 reworks of Knight Fever and Hex-A-Gone (regular) were both community- driven.
