The headline matches

TEAM VISION 2-0 BoomBoys (3-0) — VISION is the first team to lock a 3-0 lead in the tournament. The 2-0 sweep was clinical: game 1 was a 37-minute stomp on red, game 2 went 69 minutes and closed out the series. Satanic's Juggernaut in game 2 was the difference — the carry was untouchable and closed the game 31-10 in kills.

Team Spirit 2-1 Team Liquid (3-0) — Spirit took down Liquid in a three-game series to go 3-0. Game 1 was a Spirit win, game 2 was a Liquid reverse sweep, and game 3 was a Spirit win in 50+ minutes. Yatoro's Spectre in game 3 was the difference. Spirit joins VISION at 3-0 going into Day 3.

Iron Wing 2-1 Team Falcons (2-1) — the upset of the day. The ex-Tundra roster (Pure, bzm, 33, Ari, Whitemon) took down the defending TI 2025 champions in three games. Game 1 was an Iron Wing win in 68 minutes (Pure on Lone Druid, bzm on Ember Spirit), game 2 was a Falcons reverse sweep, and game 3 was a 46-minute Iron Wing win. 33's Centaur in game 3 was the difference. The Falcons loss is the first real sign of weakness for the defending champions.

What the bracket looks like after Day 2

3-0 teams (2): TEAM VISION, Team Spirit. These two play each other in the Round 4 3-0 Playoff Advancement Match — the winner is the first team to qualify for the playoffs.

2-1 teams (4): Team Liquid, Iron Wing, Aurora, Nigma Galaxy. These four are in the upper-bracket race; a Day 3 win puts them at 3-1 and in the 3-1 Playoff Advancement matches on Round 5.

1-2 teams (4): BoomBoys, LGD Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Yandex, Vici Gaming. (5 teams at 1-2, not 4 — Swiss pairing is by record, not strictly by group size.)

0-2 teams (2): GamerLegion, Xtreme Gaming, HULIGANI. These three are in the elimination bracket; another loss puts them at 0-3 and one match from going home.

0-3 teams (1): OG. The first team to be eliminated from the upper-bracket race. OG needs to win out from 0-3 to make the playoffs — a long shot, but not impossible.

Standout performances, Day 2

Satanic, TEAM VISION (Position 1 / Carry) — 31-10 in kills across the 2-0 sweep of BoomBoys. The 18-year-old PARIVISION carry is the strongest player in the tournament through 3 series.

Yatoro, Team Spirit (Position 1 / Carry) — Three different carries (Medusa, Gyrocopter, Spectre) in the three Spirit wins. The two-time TI champion is locked in.

Collapse, Team Spirit (Position 3 / Offlane) — The Magnus-Pudge-Primal Beast trio punished every misposition. 11 KDA across the Spirit 3-0 run.

33, Iron Wing (Position 2 / Mid) — 33's Centaur in the game-3 win over Falcons was the best individual mid performance of the day. The two-time TI champion is back in form.

The OG situation

The SEA representative is 0-3 after Day 2, and the only team in the tournament with a 0-3 record. Their path forward is brutal: they need to win 3 straight Bo3 matches to make the playoffs. The team's draft discipline broke down over the 3 series, and bzm's mid-lane was contained by every opponent.

Where the meta sits after Day 2

  • Medusa and Spectre are still 100% pick/ban in carry — the duelist pool has narrowed to 3 heroes
  • Primal Beast is now the most-picked hero of the event (24 picks across Days 1-2, 17 wins)
  • Io is still 100% pick/ban on hard support — Chen is the only real alternative
  • Primal Beast, Mars, and Ember Spirit are the top 3 mids
  • Axe quietly has the highest win rate of any offlaner (6-1 across 7 picks)

The meta is consolidating, not diversifying. Day 3 will likely see more of the same hero pool.
