The Sentinel power pass
All five Sentinels got meaningful improvements. The goal: help anchors hold sites on their own and punish disorganized five-player rushes.
- Cypher — Trapwire: windup reduced from 0.9s to 0.7s.

- Killjoy — Turret: rate of fire increased by 50%.
Nanoswarm duration extended from 4s to 5s. Alarmbot movement speed increased by 50%
- Veto — Interceptor: reclaim cooldown reduced from
30s to 20s. Crosscut usable area increased from 24m to 30m. Arming time after placing reduced from 1.5s to 0.75s
- Sage — Healing Orb: self Heal-Over-Time increased
from 50 to 100 HP. Restores much of her self-sufficiency from pre-nerf versions
- Deadlock — GravNet: cooldown reduced from 60s to 50s
Initiator cooldown reductions
The signature ability cooldowns for Sova, Fade, Skye, Breach, and KAY/O drop from 60s to 50s. Gekko's ability cooldowns after reclaiming his buddies drop from 20s to 15s.
Combined with the Sentinel buffs, the patch rewards structured, utility-driven play over raw aggression. Five-stack utility comps should benefit the most; solo-queue ranked feels largely unchanged.
The new map — Summit
Summit enters the Competitive map rotation. It's a three-lane map with a vertical center, a destructible mid cover, and a defender-favored B site. The map is themed around a research facility in a mountain range.

Omen Shrouded Step — the audio-clarity nerf
Omen mains will feel this one. Riot updated the audio for enemy Shrouded Step so that teleports are easier to hear when you are within range of the ability.
Officially this is a "gameplay-clarity fix" — Riot noted that Omen teleporting past or behind enemies undetected violated its audio-clarity standards. In practice, the change is a meaningful nerf to Omen's sneaky repositioning.
Ranked Rating (RR) adjustments
Riot continues its work on making ranks feel meaningful. The changes in 13.00:
- Matchmaking: average rank of each team is now
within 1 sub-tier. If your team's average is Gold 2, the other team's average will also be within Gold more often
- RR volatility: minor reduction. Gains and losses
are more consistent at your skill level, less swingy on outliers
- Rank manipulation penalties: detection has been
improved. Players caught for boosting, deranking, or win-trading now face a 14-day Competitive ban for first offense, 30-day for second, permanent for third
