- **3 new hero skins** — battle pass rewards
Bug fixes
- Fixed 12 crashes related to Shard Card effects
- Fixed MMR reset bug at the start of Season 1
- Fixed aim-down-sights sensitivity scaling
- Fixed ranked reward distribution (2-week delay)
- Fixed 4 server stability issues
Balance
- **20 Shard Cards rebalanced** — the most-impactful change
Other
- in the patch
- **Card veto system** — teams can now block 1 card per round
- **Ranked season ends** August 27
- Here are the 8 most-impactful changes:
- **Glass Cannon** (nerfed): headshot one-shot range reduced
- from 30m to 20m
- **Heavy Rounds** (nerfed): headshot damage bonus reduced
- from +50% to +30%
- **Tank Up** (buffed): all health x2 → x2.5
- **Bigger Bombs** (buffed): utility damage x2 → x3
- **Rogue** (reworked): now a 10-second free-for-all
- **Float Like a Butterfly** (reworked): gravity -50% AND
- jump height +100%
- **Power Trip** (nerfed): ult charge 3x → 2x
- **Speed Demon** (buffed): move speed +50% → +75%
- The "Glass Cannon + Heavy Rounds" combo that dominated
- Season 1 is significantly weaker. The "Tank Up" and
- "Bigger Bombs" combos are the new meta.
- **Mirror Match**: both teams play the same hero
- **High Noon**: 6v6 mode for one round
- **Glass Floor**: fall damage one-shots
- **Hot Potato**: random player has a bomb that ticks down
- **Teleporters**: random teleport pads spawn across the map
- The new cards are all in the "extreme" tier (more
- chaotic, less competitive). They're banned in ranked
- by default.
- Teams can now vote to **veto 1 card** per round.
- The team with majority vote wins the veto. The vetoed
- card is replaced with a random alternative. This
- gives teams a way to block the most-broken cards
- instead of being forced to play with them.
- Server tickrate improved from 60Hz to 128Hz
- Client-side memory usage reduced by 15%
- GPU utilization improved on AMD cards
- Axon: headshot damage reduced by 8%
- Kismet: self-heal cooldown reduced from 12s to 10s
- Miko: shield health increased by 15%
- Seren: heal-per-second increased by 10%
- Vex: trap cooldown reduced from 18s to 15s
- The 1.4 patch is the last major balance change
- before Season 2 on August 28. The next patch
- (1.5, mid-Season 2) will be focused on bug
- fixes and the new hero balance (Ronin, Bulwark,
- Echo).
