The August 3, 2026 Marvel Snap balance patch is the last balance pass before the Fractured Frontier season launches August 4. The patch:

Nerfs

Sandman — NERF

  • Old: On Reveal, your

opponent can only play 1 card next turn.

  • New: On Reveal, your

opponent can only play 1 card next turn AND your opponent draws a card.

The Sandman nerf adds a draw-back to the anti-fun mechanic. Before the nerf, Sandman locked the opponent out of the next turn with no consequence. After the nerf, the opponent draws a card (which mitigates some of the lock-out effect).

Sandman was the most-played card in August (28% of decks). The nerf is the biggest balance change in the patch.

Lockjaw — NERF
