Esports World Cup 2026 — Paris
The third annual Esports World Cup runs from **July 6 to August 23, 2026** at the **Paris Expo Porte de Versailles**, with the **CS2 Championship Final on August 23** upgraded to the **Accor Arena** (the same venue that hosted the final CS:GO Major in 2023). The 2026 edition features **25 tournaments across 24 games** and a record **$75M total prize pool** — the largest single esports event in history.
The event was originally announced on January 20, 2026 as a return to **Riyadh, Saudi Arabia**, where the 2024 and 2025 editions were held. On **May 20, 2026**, the Esports Foundation officially relocated the tournament to **Paris, France** in response to regional security concerns. The Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is the host venue, with the CS2 Grand Final promoted to the larger Accor Arena on the closing day.

The Club Championship is the headline number — $30M for the multi-game cross-game standings, with **$7M to the winning club**.

The Club Championship trophy will be presented at the **Accor Arena on August 23** alongside the CS2 Grand Final.

The bigger picture
The 2026 EWC is the **first edition held outside Saudi Arabia** and the proof-of-concept that the multi-game festival format can scale to new continents. The format is the same as 2024/25: every game runs its own bracket, and clubs accumulate points across all games their players are competing in. The 25-tournament structure with 24 games remains the largest in esports history.
